College Football Week 5 Plays
Plays for Week 5 of the College Football season.
What did I tell you? I said that it was going to be the week of the underdogs and it delivered. Although all of the underdogs who cashed last weekend made me feel much smarter than I am, none had more of an impact than the Dukes of James Madison, who put a 70-piece on the Tar Heels and almost forced their coach into retirement. Another big thanks to the underdogs for bringing us back into the green on the season. Even though it was not the best slate, that was still a hell of a CFB Saturday. Even when things didn't go our way (thanks for nothing, Baylor), we can still take a step back and acknowledge this is an unparalleled sport. With that being said, as we look forward to this week, this is one of the first weeks where we begin to see just how the season will shake out. I know everyone will have their eyes glued to UGA vs Bama, and rightfully so, but there are a sneaky amount of games this weekend that will shake up the CFP race as conference play begins to heat up. In addition, this is a spot where we can buy low on a couple of underperforming teams now rated below market (looking at you, NC State). This is the point of the season where we have a true feel for how teams perform, so the results should only go in the right direction. Let's rock, ladies and gents.
