The 2024 season is playing a dangerous game by letting me hang around. We will get to + units by the end of the season, that is a Coggeshall guarantee. As we have trekked on throughout this chaotic season, I am gearing up for the next two weeks to be absolute mayhem. Ranked teams are getting beaten left and right, and the College Football Playoff race is getting murky as hell. I think at times when we place futures and think teams are "sure things" to win, we forget it's a bunch of 18-21 who could've been out partying the night before or just don't have their heart in the game on any given Saturday. Although I don't think those will be a factor, the last piece we forget is that these kids get nervous. We see it every season, a handful of top 25 teams in the final weeks fall to inferior (on paper) opponents because they just aren't ready for the moment. I think this a weekend where we will see hungry dogs eat, and dragons get slayed heading into the biggest three weeks of the College Football Season. Let the dogs eat, folks. Also, South Carolina needs the world to burn to have the slightest chance at a playoff berth, so hell, may as well root for the chaos.
