After a two-month hiatus, I am officially back with the yearly “let’s see how wrong I can be” mock draft. Last year's mock, in addition to my bank account, got wiped from the start thanks to that fraud Shams Charania (Fanduel Partner) claiming that “Scoot Henderson is gaining serious momentum at No. 2 with the Charlotte Hornets", completely flipping the odds and swindling everyone's money once Brandon Miller was selected. This rant is just a long-winded way to say do not put your full faith and money into anything draft-related that gets reported in the hours leading to the draft, it's smoke screen szn.

Even though the 2024 prospect pool has been deemed a "weak" draft, some incredibly talented individuals will be drafted tonight whose lives (as well as their families) will be changed forever. Each professional league draft night is beautiful in its own right, as dreams become a reality, but why does it have to only be for the players? Let’s load up the DraftKings account and change our lives forever, too. Why not us?

Let’s go ahead and dive into how I believe the ladder of chaos that is an NBA draft with no clear-cut No. 1 prospect will go, in addition to some prop bets. To reiterate from previous mock drafts, I will not attempt to predict trades, although whatever the over is tonight in the first round, take it. Lastly, remember to turn off tweet notifications for Woj & Shams unless you want your night ruined, or if you're watching with non-NBA fans, turn the notifications on and act like you’re predicting every pick. That always plays. Let’s Rock.
